Biography

June Houston is an artist and brand strategist working from a small studio in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her practice moves between painting and brand building — two disciplines that, to her, share the same questions: what stays in, what gets cut, and what a single mark can hold.

Before opening the studio, she spent seven years inside agencies and in-house teams in New York and Chicago, leading naming and positioning for early-stage companies. She returned to Cincinnati in 2022 to make work at her own scale.

Her paintings have been shown in small group exhibitions across the Midwest. Her brand work has been quietly responsible for names, identities, and product lines for nonprofits, founders, and a handful of cultural institutions.
